Vision and Light can reveal the extraordinary beauty in ordinary things.
I travel 50 miles of mostly rural roads from home in the coastal foothills or Oregon to and from my job at a leading high tech company in Hillsboro. In 2009, my 90 minute commute became a meditation, re-igniting my love of photography which had been dormant for decades. On occasion, even the most ordinary fields, building, or other subjects become magical.
Most often I wait for the images to speak to me, rather than seeking them out. I shoot almost entirely as-is, in available light, and do some cropping and refinement in post-processing.
